The program is finalized, but we still accept some late poster contributions.We have approx. 100 excellent contributions for the conference and also three high-quality pre-conference courses.

Of the many highlights, I would like to mention especially the celebration of ICS on June 10. It is exactly 35 years since the two founding fathers of ICS, Bruce and Svante, had a late night (very serious) meeting in Seattle and decided that the time had come to start the International Chemometrics Society. It is our priviledge to host these two giants at SSC11.Another highlight is the 20th years anniversary of the Norwegian Chemical Society. SSC11 will provide a cross section of Norwegian Chemometrics with both "old" stars as Olav Christie, Harald Martens, Kim Esbensen and the younger generation. Other highlights: The young stars in Scandinavian chemometrics are present together with many young chemometricians from other top groups in Europe. And: we can expect some interesting discussions on PLS... :)

Finally, this time we arrange SSC in the heart of one of the most beautiful areas of the world: The Norwegian Fjords.
